Narooma’s Judy O’Neill was having a bit of a tidy up last week when she came across a stack of forgotten news features at the bottom of a drawer. “They were newspaper articles and news features that I had collected over the last 25 years or so because I thought they would be interesting to look through in years to come,” she said. Among the newspaper clippings and features there is one from the Telegraph Mirror – “A Salute to the Fallen 1914 to 1918” that lists all the names of Australian’s that didn’t return home from WW1. There is also two pages from the Illustrated London news from Saturday, February 27, 1858 and January 21, 1974 which Judy thinks she may have acquired in an auction job lot. The…
